A significant part of my story and my love for storytelling began at home. I grew up in Alaska with two young parents dedicated to art and the pursuit of their "American dream." That dream included becoming part owners of a remote hunting lodge in the middle of nowhere, Alaska. During my early years, I spent most of my time in the woods, fishing, camping, painting, hiking, and taking photographs with disposable cameras with my parents and brothers.

My mother has always been passionate about documenting our lives through photography, which has proved to be a tremendous blessing as I look back on my well-documented beginnings. My father, a skilled craftsman and painter, has always encouraged my self-expression through art. Growing up in rural and then small-town Alaska shaped who I am today, a foundation I carry with me wherever I go.

Over the past decade, I have traveled and lived all over the world, but there truly is no place like home. The experiences from my early life, guided by my parents, allowed me to see all the colors, feel all the emotions, and pursue my dreams and passions fearlessly. It feels only right to share a small part of where my story began with you.
